Experienced Service Technician

LMS Ag Equipment is a growing, family-owned farm equipment dealership. We proudly sell and service premier global brands, including Fendt, Challenger, Massey Ferguson, Versatile, RoGator, TerraGator, Manitou, Gehl, and more. Operating out of a newly built facility just north of Steinbach, we offer a modern, clean, and collaborative working environment.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a skilled, motivated Licensed Diesel Mechanic / Agricultural Equipment Technician to join our team. In this role, your success will be driven by your expert ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair advanced agricultural machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Advanced Diagnostics & Repair: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex mechanical systems on tractors, combines, hay tools, and other ag equipment.
- System Maintenance: Service engines, transmissions, electrical frameworks, advanced hydraulics, air conditioning, and cutting-edge precision ag/guidance systems.
- Preventative Care: Perform thorough preventative maintenance inspections to ensure maximum uptime and safety for our customers.
- Digital Tooling: Utilize computer-based diagnostic software and dealership portals to pinpoint issues efficiently.
Qualifications & Experience
- Certification: Licensed Heavy Equipment Technician or Agricultural Equipment Technician (Journeyperson status preferred).
- Technical Savvy: Comfortable using modern computer diagnostic tools and tech systems.
- Core Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving skills and sharp attention to detail.
- Professionalism: Excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, reliability, and a customer-first mindset.
- Credentials: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving abstract.
